About Brenda Levin
Brenda Levin, L. OM., MSOM, MScN
Brenda’s practice integrates the multiple modalities of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition counseling and shiatsu massage therapy. She works with a wide-range of patients seeking care in areas such as general wellness, pain management, weight management, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, mental-emotional issues, drug and alcohol-dependence, withdrawal and detox care. Her specialty and passion surrounds supporting people with cancer and managing chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, HIV, and other autoimmune disorders. Brenda also works with patients in patterns of addiction, via addressing nutritional deficiencies, lifestyle and behavioral support, and most importantly, emotional support.
Brenda has also been an adjunct instructor at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies and taught first year acupuncture students Integrative Physiological Medicine I, II and III. Some of Brenda’s hobbies include her side business Sparkle Hair, creating ceramic sculptures, petting/caring for other people’s dogs and cats, dancing to hip-hop or Cuban Timba music, practicing yoga, spending lots of time in the kitchen making nutrient-dense and seasonally appropriate meals to feed her family and friends and at the end of the day, pondering the infinite beauty of our universe.
